Movie is not great if you want to have some converstation. Ask where she would like to go for dinner, or ask if she has been to your favorite place..... Ask what her favorite food is? Good idea to be private table if first date. Otherwise Japanse Hibachi, which is 6 people sitting around the grill and the chef entertains is fun.

Arcade, play pool, bowling, ask her what she likes to do and go with it! Pizza might be great.

well if its a first date its better to forgo the movie and go to a coffee shop like starbucks or a mall or to the local diner. that way you guys can talk and get to know each other. the movie you just sit there, so thats a better second date.

find out what the girl likes to do... for instance if she likes football, take her to a football game or if she's a more traditional girl, dinner and a movie. For the more spontaneous, mini golf, bowling, or an arcade would be fun.
