I like the new restore feature but the browser has a bug or something it crashes alot on me,i reinstalled it twice i think i'm going back to 1.5.

it's either one of your extensions or Messenger. If you have Messenger installed, make sure you upgrade to the latest version 8.1 - there were a few nasty crashes between older versions of Messenger and FF1.5 and 2.0 which were tickled by various yahoo sites.
Otherwise, try a clean profile and install your extensions one per day until you start crashing and that's your culprit. 'firefox.exe -profilemanager' to create and manage your profiles.

it does sometimes ... but I think they will release a better version soon

No, it doesn't. Works better, more stable to me.
