When I was 14 and got a necklace from a guy who liked me, I didn't really think much about it. Or maybe I was still a bit of a tomboy back then. It's good if she's really into jewelry.

I haven't seen your previous question so it might be too late to tell you this. But I'll tell you anyways. Jewelry or accessory is very difficult to pick for someone unless the person is with you when you buy it. I say that because everyone has a different taste. Unless you know for sure her likes, as well as dislikes, don't give a piece of jewelry or accessories as a gift.

Whatever you do, do NOT get her diamonds. I guarantee your relationship will be over within months if you do. The necklace idea is OK I suppose, although there are better, more original ideas out there. I like to call it the "DeBeers Law." The commercial tells you that she will love you forever but when you give it to her she will think "This is so tacky...my boyfriend is so unoriginal."
If you're married to her already, then diamonds are acceptable.
