The feel this sensation mostly everywhere, although it's more noticeable and bothersome in my upper body (head arms chest). It's increased in frequency lately so that it's pretty constant and has been so for a week or so. It's like an electric shock but more dull (ever stuck your tongue on a 9v battery?).
I told this to my doctor once when it was more sporadic and he said I wasn't describing it clearly (and I wasn't mumbling nor was I inaudible - aren't they trained to translate from human speak to technical mumbo jumbo? And I have heard the phrase 'electrical impulses' in conjunction with Paxil withdrawal so I know I'm not the first to utter this phrase. And he's a psychiatrist so he should be pretty familiar with Paxil.).
My dr dismissed the whole issue. Aside from getting a new dr, I'm not sure what to do, and getting a new dr may not be an option.
Have you or anyone you know had a similar experience/sensation? Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you

sounds like you have the same problem i do. does it happen for no reason at all or are you putting pressure on a certain point.mine feels like pins and needles like when your hand or arm falls asleep and goes numb my Dr, told me it;s a nerve in my neck. ask your Dr. to do an MRI that's how they found mine. each person is different and i can't tell you what's wrong but maybe describing the symptoms helps good luck

Wow, adverse you! It sounds a twin of withdrawal from anti-depressants. i have been there - I buzzed for some months. this is not a very good feeling. Stick it out because this is properly worth getting off of those meds if this is what you opt for to do. I also had bouts of the shakes, nausea, dizziness, and issues. the first few months were the hardest, then it were given more advantageous suited with time, because the drug leaves your gadget thoroughly. It took me 6 months to slowly wean off of them and then more advantageous time after that for all those warning signs to thoroughly bypass away. i ask your self if as a lot of human beings ought to apply them in the journey that they realized only how strongly they influence you and how troublesome they're typically to get off of?? i ask your self if there is someplace you could call to ask - right here we've a decision-in centre to talk to a nurse at any time. you should save asking till you discover someone who listens reason no human being else can inform you the way you're feeling! there is also the potential of a nerve impingement too - and also you want someone in a clinical container to address which that is.
