I went on antidepressants as a teenager for anxiety, but when I went on them, I started to have real problems and my mother wouldnt listen to anything I had to say and just said did you take your medicine. She started to become very mean to mean and when I reacted she wanted to know if I took my medicine. I felt like I had no one to go to, the medicine had blocked me. She messed up my head as a teenager and I became very quiet. Then after I graduated I had to take medicine again because of what happened. This made me very sick and I felt like all this was caused because of the medicine.

I don't think you did the right thing to keep on taking your medicine. you have to interrupt it GRADUALLY. There are SUPPORT WITHDRAWAL GOUPS on Yahoo. Go read and participate in supporting each other, for a safe gradual withdrawal, if not you will harm your liver, and then your health.
Anti depressants such as Wellbutrin, Prozac and Paxil can do harm and lead people to suicide.

In my opinion, it would be a good idea to find a therapist to talk to. They don't prescribe, but they can help you work out your feelings, and find out what is really the problem. Sometimes, not taking your medication regularly can really mess up your mind, and you don't even realize it's the medication (or not having the medication). Also, a therapist will listen and not argue. They help you to help yourself. If you can't afford one, try a local hospital or mental health clinic for an outpatient therapy session.

You are alive. Thousands of MDs got millions of Americans on Vioxx. It killed more Americans than the terrorists did on 9/11. Site below has people who are healing depressed people without drugs including a psychiatrist.

The medicine didn't cause it, your mother did. I suggest you contact a therapist in the area.

The medication didn't cause your problems; your idiot mother did. The medication is suposed to help you, and if it doesn't, then try a different one. You might aslo consider seeing a therapist to work out unresolved issues you have with her.
