Has someone threatened your cat. Please call the police department and get animal control. Not only would this be animal abuse - to threaten you with this is also abuse. If this happens call police and stop it before it gets worse. You are right to worry. Stop it now.

Trying to rock a cat to sleep usually doesn't work out so hot. If you want your cat to sleep try keeping it active for a long time (an hour or two) and it should sleep just fine. On the other hand if you are talking about ending a cats life then yes it is possible as it is with any animal the only thing that changes is the size of the dose.

Yes, you can have a cat put to sleep. But doing so should only be for medical reasons that the cat has. There are always animal shelters and you can put ads in newspapers to try to find a home for the cat. Don't just have it put to sleep because you don't want it or can't have it anymore.

Yes if it is suffering of sickness or old age, but otherwise putting a cat to sleep is wrong and terribly mean, they have fellings too!

Swing a medallion in front of your cat and just say "you are getting sleepy, very sleepy" over and over again. :)

Seriously, if you are thinking about putting your cat to sleep, unless it is for illness or very serious behavioural issues you should try to find the cat another home or get in touch with your local animal shelter and see if they can take your kitty in.

Do you mean "euthenize" or simply beddy-bye asleep? If the latter, it depends of the cat. Mine will sleep once I dumpt them on my bed, turn on the radio to soft classical music, leave the room dark and shut the door. Then they both go to kitty dream land.

not unless you have the appropriate training required in your country. eutanasia is given intravenously (into the vein) and is difficult to do especially if the cat is sick. You can usually hold your cat as it gets put down though.

I am not too sure for this one but this always works on my cousin's cats; just let them sit on your lap and rub their belly and behind their ears. That only works when they feel like winding down other than that if I were you I would call the vets.

What are you talking about? As in euthanize yourself at home? Or actually putting your cat to sleep as in snoozing?? You need to be more specific

...A vet can. If the kitty is sick or if he is in a lot of pain and it can't be cured then they inject him/her with some drug that painlessly kills your cat. This is the absolute last-resort though, but it's better than having your cat in pain for the rest of their lives.
