i want to leave my job as a concentration camp guard, im fed up of walking up and down past a barbed wire fence, it makes my butt itch.so can anyone pls advise me on a new career after ileave the army, who would employ a military personel ,thanks.

Sadly the military is a heavily alcohol oriented social culture. Happy hour at the club is a many decades old tradition.Alcohol is plentiful and cheap. Overseas it is usually available (rationed) untaxed I believe I was able to buy 5 liters a month without any local or US taxation. If your alcohol consumption is excessive to the point it impacts performance you'll have issues with command I suppose. But when I was in (69-73) there was plenty of overlooking of even that. You will be encouraged to get drunk with your buddies. However, drinking on duty is a real no-no.

The typical career path would be somewhere in the field of law enforcement. I would use the GI Bill money to get more education and move in that direction... certainly, it could also depend upon your MOS. How dangerous of a job do you want?

ya got any college? it's free while your active, you got the G.I. Bill? go to your unit seperation office for jobs, you could always do soldiers to teachers just to have a job while you do college and get a degree, if you like the military, try to crosstrain.
