I mean, like if I got 93%, then what letter grade is that? And if I got a 82%, what is that? What is the scale where by these are figured out?

Most schools follow the above post's guidelines some do
A= 100-90
B= 89-80
C=79-70
D= 69-60
F anything below..

Depends on the school system. Their website should have that info though

It depends entirely on the school you go to. Many schools use a scale where 90% or above is an A, 80% and above is a B, 70% and above is a C, and 60% and above is a D. Others (including mine) use a scale where 93% and above is an A, 85% and above is a B, 77% and above is a C, and 70% and above is a D. At others each teacher or professor sets the scale differently. I've known some instructors who will pass people with as low as 30% of the total possible; they give exceptionally difficult tests and expect "average" to be around 50%. You need to look at your syllabus or ask your teacher what scale is used.

ask your the person that gave you the grade how they grade papers where i am from a 93% is a "B" and an 82 is around a "C" and some teachers grade on a curve which means for every passing grade there is a failing grade

depends on the school 90s are usully A's and 8- are usully B's ect
