That the person is a scholar, an expert in some field. I can say of my professors and tutors, some were brilliant, and others could hardly tie their own shoes!
It is still that way. In my second Master's at Uni right now.

That is the reason Vedic Scriptures are also called apaurushya ..meaning "not created by Humans". Humans are always faced by 4 main Defects. - They have imperfect Senses - they commit mistake - They get illusion and - They have Cheating Propensity.
Hence with these 4 Defects, Any amount of Human Wisdom cannot arrive at the Absolute Truth.
Hence Knowledge of Absolute Truth is given Directly by God. And such words have a very deep impact on any Human, who is real seeker of Truth.
