I John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

YES.... Learning through experiences from the Holy Spirit first hand is better than a degree, your may not be book smart, but spiritually wise, knowledgeable and understanding being taught the oracles of God by the Holy Spirit.

God is known for doing that, He starts usually with the small man and like clay in his hands, he builds and molds you into KNOWLEDGEABLE man or woman through life experiences in different ways for his purpose and reasons, basically to give you that experience to help others.

The wisdom of the world is far different from the wisdom which comes from God.

Academic degrees are for learning the wisdom of the world....although some disciples have them too.

The Holy Spirit regenerates the believer to have the mind of Christ...who IS our wisdom.

The Holy Spirit is the extended power of God IN YOU! All things are possible with Him!

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

False. Neither the "holy spirit" (there is no such thing) nor academic degrees are either necessary nor sufficient for teaching religion, or anything else. What you need is expertise in the subject, and understanding of the students' knowledge and expectations. If you want to teach religion, read the bible, apologetics for it, and refutations against it so that you will know what you are talking about.

Easy Look at the Apostles before and after the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Peter even denied Christ before, and after died for his beliefs. If you are not a Christian you will never understand, but the Holy Spirit will tell you what to say and do. You need to know your Bible but God will tell you what to say.

If you have the Bible, and His Holy Spirity to help you understand its words, then that is ALL you need.

Academic degrees can introduce strange understandings, and all too often concentrate on whatever the teachers want to teach, rather than what you actually need to know.

The Holy Spirit gives one the gifts needed to be a good teacher/minister. But it doesn't make up for a lack of training and study, either.

When you have the Holy spirit, that is God inspiring you like a muse. Even if you knew nothing, He could inspire you to teach.

In the Bible, people were often used to proclaim God's word who were considered ignorant of the law or came from a humble background, Jonah, Matthew, Peter, John and Jesus being examples.

The Bible is written in such a way that you could study it your whole life and never get close to knowing what it means. Only the one who inspired it can supply His holy spirit can help humble Bible student to learn what it contains.
