i have powdered hot chocolate mix but wanted to make a pot of it instead of making each one individually

Of course you can, if it is the drip coffee maker. If it is a percolator type, no.

Decide the number of cups you want, fill the pot with that much water, and empty it into the reservoir.

Take the number of packages you want to make, and place the contents into the filter basket, and turn on machine and let it run.

All a coffee pot does is make warm water. It would be quicker to let the water get hot in the sink, then put some into a bowl or large mug and microwave it.

It won't work because you need to dissolve the hot chocolate with the water. By putting it in a coffee maker you'll have hot chocolate grounds and it'll be a great big mess.

No, you can't.

Coffee makers make hot water to extract the flavor from ground coffee beans.

You make hot chocolate with sugar, milk and cocoa on top of the stove.

Sure you can make hot chocolate, heck you can simmer chicken soup in it. Might need a gallon of draino and a hammer and chisel to clean it. I use mine to bring old paint back to life.

I would say no...just heat up your water in the coffee maker...

i can't see why not it is of a water base is it not i do it all the timejust run your water thru like you would for making coffee
