What was with that guy who got a tattoo of a toolbox? What a loser. Tattoos are so stupid.

that's ur opinion. maybe he likes toolboxes, as stupid as that sounded, it could happen. people do have some weird obsessions. I don't have an obsession with tattos and I do agree that I woudn't get one but that doesn't give me the right to go around saying they're stupid and calling people losers because they got one. maybe u should think before u act!

Well the only tattoo I ever saw on there that resembled a toolbox, was a toolchest that a man had to represent his FATHER who had passed away, in which case, that was NOT a stupid tattoo. He put a lot of thought into it, and the tattoo artist drew it up especially for him.
I'm sure someday you'll have a tattoo that says "Princess" on your lower back, or perhaps a Playboy bunny... and that won't make you a loser, right?

This question is BEGGING for a nasty answer from me but, as I am a grown-up, I won't say that one here. Is it stupid to want to remember a family member? Whatever way someone chooses remember family is their business. You are certainly entitled to your opinion but, don't judge others as stupid because of their tattoos. I agree with you on some part though, some tattoos are stupid. That is my opinion. Even if you don't like tattoos, the least you can do appreciate the art itself. It takes some extraordinarily talented people to create those tattoos.
I love Miami Ink. I watch the show and sometimes record it when I am not home to watch it. I have 3 tatts with at least 5 more planned. I am college educated and now own my own business in a highly specialized field of professional audio equipment.
I leave you with this: Ask a breast cancer patient about their radiation tattoos. Let them tell you how they may have helped to save their lives.

Tattoos are meant to mean something about the person that is getting it. Not to be rude, but really do you care what someone else has tattooed on their body. Some people might think your a loser because you would say something like that.

i honestly dont know why people have to judge others who are tattooed and pierced.
you dont see us(pierced and tattooed people) going around calling people who are untattooed or pierced stupid or any other name its not nice and shouldnt be done.
i have 10 piercings and 3 tattoos and many more to come so i guess your calling me stupid. im far from it to tell u the truth stupid is someone who doesnt think about what they are putting on there body or someone who just wants a tattoo cos everyone else has one.
going back to the comment someone said about the girl who wanted the flies tattoo up her inner thigh the guys at miami ink told her that they wouldnt tattoo them there because its a bad image for them. a tattooist isnt going to tattoo something on someone unless they think it is appropriate.
anyway thats my opnion dont judge others untill u try it urself

Tattoos are not stupid, you might be though...
That man got a tattoo of a tool box because its meaningful and relates to his FATHER...which meant there is a connection and love for someone. He marked himself proudly with the toolbox, imaging his fathers life. I have many tattoos, one of which happens to be a monkey. I got it because I love monkeys and the tattoo has meaning to me. You don't have to understand it, you don't have to get tattoos, but keep your close-minded opinions to yourself.
Tattoos are meant only for the person who wears them proudly on their skin. I don't call you names because you don't have tattoos. Grow up.

Yes.. It's a pretty good show! Sometimes I am shocked with what people will get tattoed on their bodies.. They are all so talented and do such amazing jobs ! I think some tattoos are trashy, but I also think some are a form of art and are really nice.

If you don't like tattoo's that is fine, I don't care. But don't you think you could have come up with an intelligent way to state that, maybe give some reasons to back your feelings? Your statement means nothing. You sound more like a jealous middle grader who can't get something she wants.

That guy with the tool box tattoo got it as a memorial to his father that died. I personally wouldn't get a tool box, but thats pretty original...you've got to admit.
By the way, tattoos are anything but stupid.

Um, actually, the guy got a tattoo of a tool box as a memorial to his father. His father built race cars, I believe, and left his son the tool box. It was the only thing he had to remember his father by.
And while you are entitled to your opinion on tattoos, I have a different opinion. I, myself, have seven tattoos right now. Each of them means something special to me and symbolize a certain time in my life. I have my next two tattoos already planned. A fairy on the back of each leg, on my calves. One fairy dressed in purple to signify one daughter's birthstone and the other fairy dressed in blue to signify the other daughter's birthstone.
None of my tattoos were done randomly. I put a lot of thought into each and every one of them. And they are all beautiful and in no way sleazy, or as you put it, stupid.
