If you look into the options or preferences of LimeWire, you will see configuration settings to enable uploading and sharing. By default, any files that are in your download directory will be shared. You can also add additional folders to share in the preferences of LimeWire.

click on limewire
click file in top left hand corner
click properties

scroll throught there and somehwere you will find a checkbox or something that you must adjust to share files

if I were you I would not do that. To date the only people who have been sued by companies are those who put copywrited material on sites like limewire. If it is not copywrited go with the other guys. so therefore it is safer if you do not put illegal stuff on sites like that. companies can only sue so many people so they choose those who put stuff on it.
