Yes because since he is God what is says is already put into command so if He deems 2+2=5 then we would all wake up knowing/thinking it to be so.

If he can do such things as create & destroy the entire world with his command a simple problem such as math wouldn't be too hard!

Yes. God can do whatever he wants, but it has to be for a reason. If something really significant happened that would need 2+2 to = 5, than it has a chance. Nonetheless, if 2+2 was changed, there would be chaos until a whole bunch of other equations were changed. I doubt that it would be changed in our lifetime, if ever. But, yes, if God could create this universe and all of its life, he can change a simple equation discovered by humans, which are lesser to God.

His name Jehovah means "He Causes to Become" so he can do anything if it's in line with his purposes, like with the parting of the Red Sea. But he did establish scientific (and moral) principles for the universe to work under, and of course 2+2 does not = 5. His inspired Word commands us not to try him (1 Corinthians 10:9). Only Joshua commanding the sun to stand still in the sky ever did or will have God listen to his voice (Joshua 10:14). So I guess He could if it was according to divine purpose, since even "due to an abundance of dynamic energy" he was able to create matter itself, e=mc squared. He made that up. (Isaiah 40:26) He might overrule his principles (drying the seabed, fir from the heavens) for his own purposes, but not for some child's math test.

If you believe in the Christian God, then you believe that God is self-limiting in order to provide humans free will. God cannot exercise God's power at random or else our world would be chaos and we would not have the freedom to choose between God and ourselves. God's motives are often a mystery, but we believe that God chooses *not* to make 2+2=5.

No. God cannot make 2+2=5. It is such a ridiculous thing that it wouldn't even matter to God. God deals in truth and absolutes.

Why? God made 2+2=4 so why change it all up now?

No, cause god doesnt exist. God was created in man's image, to help man deal with the reality of death. So thats why 2+2 wont equal 5.

He cannot do an action that is a direct contradiction.

2+2=5 would be a direct contradiction in the logic of mathematics (somewhere).

A direct contradiction is an *intrinsic impossibility.*

Omnipotence refers only to the intrinsically possible.

An intrinsic impossibility is not a thing - neither an actual nor a possible thing - but is nonsensicalness.

To put the words "God can" before a nonsensical statement does not render nonsense sense, even if it is grammatically correct.

Why would he? He already made 2+2=4 because he thought that was the way it should be.

God can! 1 divided by 3 = 1. That was and is and shall be again! Lord of Lords, King of Kings. I encourage your seeking. God bless you.
