We have gone on 5 "dates" including most recently Prom. We danced exclusively together at prom and have shared hugs and held hands, although I have chickened out of kissing her so far. We talk on the phone frequently. The only things that make me wonder is that when I asked her if we were technically bf/gf after like the second date, she didn't really answer. She also never calls me,unless she is returning my call and whenever we do go out, we inevitably end up with all her friends there. I have told her that it didn't matter if her friends were around when she asked one time. Also on the first "date" it seemed that as we left the restaurant, her friends stayed behind to leave us a few moments to ourselves.

Talk to her about it. Communication is the key in any relationship, and if both parties can do so effectively, relationships would be more rich, and longer-lasting. Ok, heres my advice. Besides talking to her, maybe u should explore. Do an experiment on her, by hanging out with other girls then her and track her reaction. If it is positive, then she is not really interested in u as a B/F but she is happy for u as a friend, if its negative, she wants to be ur G/F. If its neutral, then maybe she isnt sure of her feelings for u either. But before u do any of this, try talking to her! That is the best method almost all of the time!

Interesting... Perhaps she still isn't sure. You have to kiss her man. Be confident when you do it. I think she's waiting for some real action, or else she wouldn;t give you the time of day by letting you go out with her in the first place.

i think she wants to like you but isnt sure, that's a lot better than nuthin, i wouldnt push by asking her if ur bf/gf after 2 dates in quotation marks, you kno?? so yeah, still be interesting/interested, but dont push it so far, like give her compliments & then dont dwell on it, then she'll come to you...... it's something like that. good luck with everything =]]
