I am proud to be a legal immigrant to the USA. I followed all the immigration laws (thanks to my attorney) and have been careful to adhere to the laws oif this country since then. It cost me a lot to come here to start a new life and I would be exceedingly annoyed if anyone here illegally was assisted to become a citizen. There is a line. Get to the back of it and wait. It does not affect me, but what about the second, third and fourth preference relatives of legal immigrants who have to wait 20 years or more in some cases? Shouldn't they come before an illegal? Illegal immigrants are lawbreakers. We have quite enough of them already, thank you very much. We do not need any more.
Anyone who thinks we need illegals to fill our employment needs only has to look at the number of illegals taking up jobs and then at the number of unemployed and then at the number of people who are recorded as available for work but not actively seeking work. Add the two latter categories together and you will see that it equals (more or less) the number of illegal immigrants. Full employment for Americans. Problem solved.

Lets be real deportation of 12 million is not going to happen.
So what is next:
1. Stop all immigrants from crossing illegally
2. For security reasons we must take from the shadow this 12 millions by offering a immigration plan according to criminal records, English proficiency and payment of taxes for all the time of being here
3. Family reunion program for those outside of USA so we don't have all the families of 12 millions trying to cross illegally.

Immigration needs to be reformed. Many people are here illegally because the immigration laws make it really hard to stay any other way. You don't just study for a test and take it. There are all kinds of requirements and a whole rainbow of visas to slog through.
Make it easier to become a citizen or to get a work pass and this "oh my gosh the sky is falling because we have illegal immigrants" crap will end. And we'll have a lot of hard working people who really want to be here instead of a bunch of lazy slobs.

only particular small numbers of immigrants that are scholars that haven't any criminal record and gr8 grades.some thing must be deported. For the students, they be rewarded with a eco-friendly card with techniques from dealing with the rigorous procedure and going interior the decrease back of the line so legal immigrants have their chance yet by no skill be rewarded with citizenship continuously because of breaking the regulation!

No. Every person who wants to move to America needs to follow the rules, pay taxes, etc. I think it's crap that illegal immigrants are moving here and living off of social security that my parents (hard working, tax paying, American citizens) will need in a few years.

No. We need to help our own citizens. Look around and see all of the homeless people that are out in the streets in major cities. I would rather help a homeless person any day. Illegal aliens need to go home to their own countries.
