Don't you know? It's never God's fault, even though He made the boulder, the kitten, and gravity, and orchestrated the erosion that loosened the boulder. Any true believer will tell you so on authority of a book interpreted with someone else's authority on the authority of someone elses' translation of someone elses' copy of someone else's copy of someone elses's writing about events that happened to someone else as told by someone else who was not that someone. You can't question that.

I think it was an act of God but unfortunate the kitten could not get out of the way.

Why would God do that? In order to show how loving and compassionate He is? Or to punish mankind for something that the poor kitten had nothing to do with? Either one would work for most Christians.

If God hadn't wanted the kitten to die, he'd have saved it. Therefore, while gravity may have been the primary culprit, God is guilty of accessory to murder because he didn't try to stop it. Either way, the kitten is dead; you can't resurrect the dead, so nothing has changed.

Fascinating question, but I'm too tired for deep questions, so I'll just respond:

all religions were written (or whatever you think) by some influential persons, who are dead long ago or in heaven/hell (what a joke)

In those days since most people were illiterates ( lack of knowledge of science and things like that), so rumours about wonder cures, miracles spread easily faster than the disease itself.

people (those days) were mainly simple (dependent on agriculture, animals etc, etc) so could be easily manupulated by influential persons( something like our present day politicians/leaders or gods)
they tought them how to live, and these people easily became their
soft preys, spreading their messages (guidebooks or whatever) for free. they became big brands (like coke)
or we all are psychologically weak , that we need a deadman's "how to guides" to live our lives. (there are lot of free self-help articles, stories out there)don't we know how to use our brains?(or trash your brains) please don't tell me rain, forest theories.why are we advertising fr free

The bible tells us glod loves the smell of burning flesh. God tortures lots of kittens. He will torture you too if you don't follow him.

Well, gravity's only a theory, right? So it can't possibly exist. So it must have been god.
