This is NOT a joke. Are there bras for sagging bellies? I'm middle age. My belly sags, and I can't afford liposuction or a tuck. Any suggestions? My lower belly is annoying and UGLY. Beside making my lap disappear, it's THERE when I get up to walk around. It's jiggley and floppy. I'd seriously be interested in what can be done about this problem both temporarily and eventually permanently. Is there any way I can avoid having the skin look like a deflated balloon once the fat is gone? I cannot afford the luxury of cosmetic surgery.

Hey, Mercifully some sensible answers here already, but let me add my NO anyway! :) There is precisely zero scientific evidence that bras prevent/reduce sagging - genetics, pregnancy, weight gain/loss and natural aging are all factors in determining how much and how soon a given woman's breasts sag, but the reality is that all breasts sag sooner or later - it's their natural shape (and no big deal, frankly!). Whether you wear a bra or not will make no difference - though if there's evidence on any side it suggests that wearing a bra increases the risk of sagging. The likely explanation is that the breasts are supported by ligaments which, if they are never required to do anything, will atrophy (weaken) and so increase sagging when the bra finally comes off. Oh - a final word on the 'National Geographic' argument - those women will typically have been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for most of their life since the age of about 14 - their breasts work for a living in a way no 'western' woman's do. And conversely, to argue that in comparison western women are relatively sag-free is really to miss the point that you very rarely see braless middle-aged westerners - I would imagine if you could group together all middle-aged western women who have had more than five or six children and stole their bras, they'd be pretty unimpressive in the gravity-beating stakes too! :)

Tummy tuck or Liposuction surgery has become very common now. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost surgery in India. Indian corporate hospitals are comparable to hospitals anywhere in the world. In fact, India has medical facilities that are comparable with the USA, UK and Canada. India offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state of the art Hospitals and the best medical experts. With the best infrastructure, the best possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive prices, you can get the treatment done in India at the lowest prices.

Bras are for breasts. Girdles and corsets are for bellies. Look in the maternity section of your favorite clothing catalog. Exercise will also help.

Yes, actually there are. Contact your local medical supply store to see what they have on hand. If they don't have what you need they can order one for you.
