I need to know whether my girlfriend broke up with me because of something i did or....?

I've been dating this girl for about 2 months and I thought it was going well. 1 night right before we were going to go to a party she calls me and says she doesnt think we can keep dating because she is really busy with school and her mom is preasuring her with piano. However, she tells me she will think about it. The next day, she says "yeah, im sorry but we have to break up because i dont have time for a bf right now". I was sad then her friend asks me why i didnt go and informs me that my ex was having a really good time. Did she just break up with me because of me or was it really because she was busy?

She broke up with you because she wanted to, that simple. She made up reasons, none of which were true, to try and make you feel a bit better about it. Accept the fact that it's over. Pushing to find out the REAL reason will only hurt you more, she doesn't like you anymore.

its really hard to tell if a girl lies about the reasons she broke up with you. the best way to find out is you just ask her up front. just tell her it wont matter the reason, but you just need to know why. sometimes its just hard for the girl to explain why. other times its because they want to explore. or sometimes they DO know the reason but they are embarrased to tell you. just ask her. if she doesnt give you a straight answer, or you still dont know, you should have a friend ask...but make sure the friend is both yours and hers. i dont know if you really want to go through all this trouble though...she might not be worth it if shes putting you through all this insecurity about yourself...i'm not saying it to be mean, but sometimes some relationships just arent meant to be.
