Math, reading comprehension and technological stuff. I don't know what the score for the Marines is but for he Army it's a minimum score of 32 and to get the job you want, it should be above 50. You can go to your local recruiting station to find out more info.

It rates everything from scholastic aptitude (science, math, verbal, etc) to vocational aptitude (job-oriented skills) and general knowledge. Taking it is a good way to get an idea of your strengths and weaknesses when exploring careers or options.

Keep in mind, though, that the higher you score on the ASVAB, the more the military will come knocking on your door. My sister scored a 72, and 3 branches wanted her (AF thought she was too dumb). My husband scored a 93, and everyone wonders why he's a builder instead of a nuke, lol.

It is a battery of written tests to see what areas of work you are most suited for in the military. Your score on this will determine what your probable MOS will be. It includes all the things you've listed and more. It was almost an all day test.
