Here are some breeders websites that I found in an issue of Catfancy. It depends if you need a CFA certified show cat, or a spayed show cat (premiere) or if pet quality will do. Also, check your local animal shelter, once in awhile a purebred will turn up. There are also purebred rescue groups that might have a Persian for you. Petfinder.com will also let you search by breed and links to purebred rescue groups.

It varies depending on where you look. I was able to pick mine up for a total of $100 dollars and I've never been happier, lol. Good Quality breeders will most likely sell you one from any range of 300-800 dollars, depending on the show quality of the cat.
You could always call your local shelter and see if they have one, but most Persian cats who end up at a shelter, either have something wrong with them or they have been abused. While it is considered one of the cheapest routes, and one of the more humane, you are never quite sure what you are signing up for with shelter persians.
My advice to you, in order to get the exact answer you are looking for; try finding a local breeder near you, look on the web or in the phone book. If they don't have their price info up on their website, you can contact them for it. ^_^ Or you could contact your local vet, they will tell you where to look and what to look for.
I wish you luck, persians are wonderful cats and companions!

We adopted two persians from a local shelter, the adoption fees were in the range of $30. Both had formerly had papers, although with the adoption process, they don't hand those back out. But they were beautiful cats and wonderful, loved pets!

The adoption fee would be nominal if you went to your local animal shelter. In my town, the SPCA has a website and you can view the pets that they have available online! Plus, you can "request" an animal based on color, gender or breed. Our cat came from the SFSPCA -- and he was a bargain at $75. We think that it's the best $75 we've ever spent!!! Check it out:

I bought mine for $200 from a local breeder. Around here, that's about average for a kitten with papers.
