Yea so as i was saying one of my dog eats paper or we have found the garbage dug in and some paper is lost. We believe it is my dog. Does anyone know why my doggie does this. Well anyway thanks for your time. I will choose fare for the best answer. Be honest plz(please)

Well it all depend on if the dog is a puppy or not. If it is a puppy it is natural. The puppy just wants to play. You could get a tug toy to fix that problem. But if it is an adult dog I think it also needs a chew toy. And to fix that get a garbage can that wont let the dog get into it and play frequently with the dog. Like play tug of war or let him or her play with other dogs. This is just what I do because I already have been through this. I hope you consider my answer and I hope you have a Happy Holiday!

Usually if a dog is eating something other than food, it is because something is lacking in their diet. I don't know what you feed your dog, but you might try a can of moist food along with some dry food for a couple of weeks to see if it stops paper chewing. If it doesn't, schedule an appointment with your dogs vet.

My dog use to do it all the time. I think they like to hear paper shred or just like the taste. But my vet said that it will come out in his stool and not to worry about it. But me i just don't let him eat it. I hope this help a little.

i don't know why, but my dog does it too. he eats paper and paper towels all the time. if we are eating dinner, he will lurk around and try to steal our napkins!! then he takes them and shreds them with his teeth and swallows them! it's odd and funny but we take them away from him whenever we see him do it. maybe he has a vitamin deficiency or something? like people who eat crayons or clay have an iron deficiency??

My dog does this too, if you touched the paper then mabye he likes your smell,or mabye he needs a new toy.

my puppy eats paper too.. dogs don't know what they should and should not eat so u can't blame him or her

maybe your dog is starving., did you feed it???? and keep your dog away from the paper!
