Probably at 2 years, but he may continue growing for up to 4 years. Do not mistake obesity for growth, some owners overfeed their dogs so it will grow, it just makes them fat. To get your dog strong run with it but do not let it pull anything until at LEAST 2 years of age or hip dyplasia occurs.

He should stop growing at about 2 years. But from 12 months onward his growing will slow right down.

Feed a large breed adult food asap. No more puppy food nothing. Boxers tend to vary in size. However a mature fully grown boxer can be viewed at 2 years old. I struggled to keep weight on my Boxer for 1.5 years and now that he is almost two, he looks great. Bigger dogs can tend to be prone to certain health issues that Boxers are suseptiable to. Check out the info on the link below, she is my breeder and is Boxerriffic!

Who is he growling at. If it's you this is serious!

I would get him straight to obedience classess and do everything you can to show him you are Alpha. These dogs love obedience training and agility training.

You need to put a stop to this as puppies mature into teenagers faster with boxer dogs. With this brings on the dominant character traits of a dog that is willing to attack. That said boxers are not known to be human aggressive - just the opposite really but you should be concerned all the same.

He is probably pretty close to his full size- but I would think he still has some filling out to do. Most boxers keep filling out after they reach their full hieght for a few more months. Most that we see reach their full size at about 15-18 months. Growth rate is a lot slower after the first year- and most of the growth is gaining muscle mass. Dad is probably a pretty good indicator of what he will look like. Sounds like a bruzer!

I don't think he'll grow any taller now - but for the next year he will bulk up with muscle.
When he is two he is considered fully grown. However he will still be immature in his behaviour. He will be an adult dog at 2.5 - 3 years.

If she is a year old, she is about as tall as she is going to get. The second year, she will start to fill out more. She should be done growing by 18 months old.

a puppy will be classed as adult when he is about 3 years old but after 12 months he should be almost fully grown.
have a look at his paws. are they large compared to his body size? he will grow into those paws so it will give you an idea of how big he is going to get and if he is going to grow anymore.
