That is, why bother making anything count as a sin for humanity, if nothing is INHERENTLY right or wrong? Why, for example, did God decide to make disobedience a vice when by a mere act of will He could make it a virtue? Why not save Himself (and us!) a lot of trouble by just defining everything as 'good'? Your answer?

The people who say that "God can make things to be morally right or wrong as He pleases" are misguided. he made us with a form and function, much like a car. If you take a car meant to run on diesel, and put bleach, or molasses in it, it just wont work. The same principle applies, sin is moving/working out of the way we were meant to, and thus it hurts us and/or destroys us as well as the world around us. when we have thoroughly broken our souls, we get flung into the celestial trash heap like all other parts that have been put to the test but failed. The only thing that changes is how we deal with God and the world around us, God and his laws are forever righteous.

no longer in problem-free words does the Bible say being gay is morally incorrect, nature also says this. Why do you imagine nature received't enable the practising homosexuals to reproduce. positioned 2 adult males/women on an island, come lower back in 40 years and noones left. in the adventure that they were born gay, then i'd ought to reevaluate my christian faith and probably go away it. technology has yet to educate that human beings are born gay so as of this second, heterosexuality continues to be king. If technology did inform you this, please list the source, because i have in no way heard of it. As for the Bible being regulation, check out the position our U.S. guidelines got here from. it truly is sweet to be certain some flow of options going round immediately, and that i wish you'll seem into mine. :D finally, maximum of your complications/questions ought to nicely be responded with those 3 books. a million. Case for a author: Lee Strobel 2. Case for Christianity: C.S. Lewis (very short e book) 3. evidence for Christianity: Josh McDowell

"People say......"
Why don't you let God "speak for Himself"? I think He would tell it a little differently.
