I don't mean any disrespect, but i would defitnetly get that checked. b/c that can NOT happen. Are you 100% sure of you and your wife's blood type? If so I would test. b/c O is neutral and the only types your children can be are O+/O- unless one of you were an A+ blood type. Im so sorry.

your child can not be A positive not possible. If you and your wife are O then your child would be OO indication they are O below is a chart that might explain alittle more A and B is dominate to O and O is the recessive there for if there is an A or B present the O is not seen persay

AA or AO = A
BB or BO = B
AB = AB
OO = O

p.s. if you are not for sure what your blood type is you can use your parents genotypes to find out yours or the possibilities that is. Although blood typing is your best bet for a correct answer

Genetics are kinda tough to explain, especially blood types, but let me try. There are two combinations that make any part of a persons anatomy and physicality, including blood type. Some are going to come out on top of others, and are called dominant genes. Others have to have both the mom's and the dad's gene be the same to show in the child, called recessive. Let's say that O is dominant, and A is recessive. If one of your parents carries the A gene, and the other the O gene, you will have them both, but you will be O. You pass on the A gene to your child, and so does your wife, your child is A. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure the O genotype is recessive, so if either of you even had a A or B genotype, your blood type would NOT be O+/-. Therefore, your children, if conceived together, can only get O from either of you and thus will have to be O +/-. I would maybe get another blood test of yourself, just to make sure your blood type wasn't mistyped or something.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure O is recessive, A and B are dominate.

O- and O+ both are the most popular blood types and O+ is the only universal donor. There is a website you can check out and play with the blood types. Try a copy and paste in your bar up top to this website. Go down to the blood type calculator and read all about it.

One of your blood types may have been incorrectly typed or you or your wife could be a genetic chimera, where you or she have more than one type of DNA in your body. It is possible for your blood DNA to be different than the DNA of your ovarian or testicular tissue. The Lydia Fairchild case is a famous example of genetic chimerism. The authorities were saying that her children could not possibly be hers because their DNA did not match hers, but they were proven in court to be her biological children. Also, blood types do not always follow the expected genetic inheritance patterns.

The genetics come from your parents, too. If there's a recessive gene in your family tree, it's possible to pass it to your baby along with your wife. It's all in the delicate art of conception.

Um. Yes, she did.
If you're an O and she's an O, you're child can only be an O.

Check for yourself below. There's a blood type calculator at the bottom of the page.

while blood type is genetic, it is not solely determined by the parents blood type
my guess would be that someone in either of your families would also have A+
also i was mistyped as having O+ when i was younger and did not find out until years later that I am actually A+....could there be a mistake in the blood types one or both of you think you have?
