climax- the height of the story... when u finally know what or how the story will turn out (e.g. in snow white when she finally gets kissed and wakes up)
foreshadowing- hints in the story as to what may happen later (a character stating that the sky is looking oddly dark and later there is a thunder storm)
complications- problems the characters deal with throughout the story (self-explanitory)

Climax - Generally where "all the action happens" in kiddy books, but where you can see many of the strings of the story being tied up.

Foreshadowing - a "preview" of what's to come before it actually happens.

Complications - things that get in the way of the main character's goal. Such as a villain, illness, etcetera.
