Hi Tracie...without knowing all the specifics of the history and existing diagnosis made by your vet it would be difficult to speculate what could be contributing to your cat's illness. All these symptoms could be one of many disorders--neurological, stroke, etc.

Have you considered opting for a second opinion? If you live in a large metropolitan city consider locating a feline-only veterinary clinic which specialises in feline-only diseases.

I wonder.
You have been to the vet, had blood tests and the like done, (I don't believe you), and the expert has come up with no diagnosis, so you think "I know, I'll ask on yahoo answers, the people there know much more than my expert vet does and can give me a cyber diagnosis without seeing the test results or even seeing the animal".
I knew we were good but not that good!

My dog was diagnosed with an irregular heart beat and displayed the same symptoms, with the irregular heart beat the blood isn't pumping round the body properly and this effects them in many ways, my dog was put on drugs to regulate it and after a few days on the drug he was fine. If you haven't been given any medication for you cat then go back into the vets and that your cat as is sounds like your cat will need medication. My dog wasn't on medication for long they monitored him and eventually took him off the tablets.

Get the cat to the vet imediatly. Blood tests etc will probably have to be done. If you already took the cat to a vet & nothing got done to solve this problem, than take the cat to a different vet. There is obviously something very wrong.

Ear infections or neurological problems would make him walk wobbly, these wouldn't necessarily show up on bloods but a vet would certainly try more tests to get to the bottom of this if there is real cause for concern.

If it has an irregular heartbeat, there is a good chance it has a heart murmur. This is serious and you need to get it to a vet ASAP!
