okayy, so there`s a really cute boy named jake @ my school & pretty much ALL the girls like him so how do i compete with that !? its mostly all pretty girls too. jake actually likes me back though! :D but still, i feel like he has all these girls liking him & its getting harder for me to grasp him. :( help?

Welcome to the real world of elementary or junior high school which I assume you are like Grade 7 or something. This is nothing new, in my heyday all the girls wanted the most popular guy because better looking, has the moncho attitude and is good at sports. They didn't care for the geek, poor, and unpopular guys. That goes to show how stereotypical girls are when they like some boy and dismissed all other boys and complain that where are all the good guys are or taken when in reality the ones they dismissed were the ones the were the good guys. It a shame they judge the book by it cover rather than getting to know the other boys. The reason why the guys like more than one is to show off to other boys to prove who is better and more popular. When you all get older, all that will change where you like some other guy for what ever the reasons are. Some of you may never get a guy, or have more than one partner in your whole lifetime. So, In would not get into too much with the guy you like with a million other girls which he might be a player and you will feel cheated by him.

First off, dont worry about competing with others, be yourself and if he chooses you then its for the right reasons.If you try to be something you are not then you will spend all your time around him uncomfortable and having to put up a front all the time.This he will become wise to very quickly.Respect who you are and be yourself.
Just be cool, he likes the attention so try a little reverse phsycology.Give him a little less "over attention" unlike the other girls and he will find the need to want to chase you instead of the other way around.Try it for a while, you will see. QUESTION 2
Boys are full of hormones, thats why they cant help themselves and are always having there attention grabbed by alot of different girls.Girls are more about emotional views and dream more about the idea of falling in love and having a family one day so tend to key more to one person than a guy will. Just be the stronger minded girl and you will draw the most of his attention by not trying so hard.Besides your young and have your whole life ahead of you and more important things to worry about than a guy.

A guy could like different girls for many reasons. One may dress pretty, one could be a good singer, one could be a good dancer. All the qualities you like you may not find in 1 person so its normal to be attracted to more than one person.
If he likes you too then you should talk to him. Just because alot of girls like him doesnt mean he likes them back. Maybe you are the only girl he really likes.

well are you sure that he likes noone else but you? if he flirts with other girls around you maybe hes just trying to make you jealous!?!? and if he likes you back the other you so call them "pretty" girls should back off until he asks you out...good luck and dont worry...jake will never let go of you because i am sure you are a very pretty girl :-)

You can be the only girl he likes. Just ask him, tell him how you feel. Vunerability is hard but you gotta take a shot at the things you want in life. If you don't let him know, he might never know. And if he rejects you, you can move on.
