I asked this question at FCA last year, and I was told "god will judge you and your commitment to him based on your knowledge of him..."and so forth. As far as I can figure out, some there are some Christians who do believe that everybody but their specific denomination will go to hell, and the rest don't know, don't care, or don't think the rest of the world is going to hell. It all depends on who you talk to and what denomination. I personally am a Catholic, but I don't think everybody else is going to hell. (But then, according to a lot of "christian" churches, I worship Mary and the saints, I am an idol worshiper, and there is a special little corner of hell reserved for me.)

Christians are not allowed to judge whether somebody does or not. But I can say that Islam and Judaism (Huge religions) shared the same old testament God. In fact, early christians used to refer to God as Allah. The Quran refers to Jesus as a profit, but not the Son of Man (God). And Judaism believes that Jesus came but was not divine as Jesus had said he was. So around the world people are very connected to Christ but whether they have accepted him as the way to God or not is another question. If one has never heard of Christ in their life then I would like to believe that, no, they would not be seperated from God in the end; but I can't say. The truth is that nobody really knows other people's hearts except God

I'm a Christian and I don't believe that. I believe that religions were created by the same god as a means of relaying messages to the people. I believe that has given some people the ability and gift to relay messages to the people. We have different religions to meet the different needs of the people. That's why many of the religions carry the same message.

It depends in the denomination. I think most Christians believe that everyone will be given an opportunity to accept God and Jesus sooner or later. At worst, I would say 50-50 think that way.

I would agree with Fish the Bible teaches the road is narrow. God has shed his innocent blood to pay the price for all who will accept it, It is tragic that many will not accept the atonement provided. There is not one good reason not to accept the atonement and to choose life over death seems so simple but that is the choice doesn't seem like a real complicated one...If a man with a gun says choose life or death I'm sure you would have no trouble picking life. Yet God offers eternal life as a gift and much more than that dies a painful death so that you can enjoy a resurrected eternal life with him and you have trouble choosing?

From the R&S "research" I've done, I believe most Christians do. I frankly don't care if they believe this, but it would be nice if some of them stopped condemning us to hell. Too bad so sad.

Edit: & here we have yet another, Jackie O--"..whoever doesn't accept JESUS CHRIST as our lord & saviour, & confess him...[??] are going to hell." That is the height of audacity. So, this person is spending their days telling people about JESUS. (So we won't go to hell!) Thank you, but do your preaching in your church, or wherever birds of a feather flock together. I respect you RIGHT to have "faith" in whatever you choose. Just don't trespass on mine, or lack of it. As to Carlos--I have NEVER heard a Muslim or Buddhist try to convert me or anyone else. & by the way, DO they believe in HELL???

Edit#2: Forgot to comment on how GOD seems to be lost in the shuffle so often. It's all about Jesus. I have to say that to me, God is "energy." Energy that is part of all of life & all of life made of stardust. So there.

Its more because those 66%, except babies and little kids who don't know about Christianity, won't and then only real Christians will.

Everyone believes that. If someone is a buddhist, then they believe that all the non buddhist are gong to hell. If someone if is muslim, then they believe all the non muslims go to hell..it's the same with every religion..You have to open your mind to others though! ;)

Do some Christians think this?

Yes, I believe that some do.

Do I? I certainly hope that this is not the case.

It is unclear, I cannot judge.
