What purpose beyond self satisfaction would an all powerful, all mighty being have for wanting us to believe it exists on faith alone? When a man tell you he has the cure for cancer, but you have to give him all your money and possessions first, you should't believe him. What reason does god have that he/she/it could not just outright tell us? Is it just a game, find out how many will follow me if I don't do anything for a few 1,000 years? And for those who say, "I have not heard from this god", I shall punish and sent to hell for not following someone who has not provided me with enough information to believe in them. The bible isn't evidence of gods existance, but evidence that man believes it to be. You a human cannot pronounce gods existance, only a god can. You can use fear to try to convince people to follow, or you can use tricks to make people believe it was god that helped them but you cannot prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt that is was god and not just a persons will

He was born of the minds of man, and man's imagination could not come up with anything better than the status quo of religion: worship, faith, belief, and fear. There is no god in the Bible, just thoughts and dreams of man. God is nothing.

God doesn't need it. We do. We go through all of this for our growth and development. He cannot tell us everything, or else we would not be challenged and consequently learn nothing. We are here to be tested, to learn by our own agency the difference between right and wrong. We will receive the consequences of our choices either for good or ill. Eventually, if we are faithful, we will become like Him and be with Him. Then we will understand what it is all about. He already knows because He has experienced it. We learn from our experience as well. If you take a test with the answer sheet in front of you, you learn very little. If you have to think and work out the problems and struggle with the questions, then the information sticks with you. You learn, grow and become a better individual. Life is like that. Does God feel bad about our struggles? Sure, but He knows it is necessary. Do we feel bad when our children struggle in school, work, marriage, etc.? Of course we do but we know it is necessary. No mystery at all.

First of all, it sounds like you are very passionate about what you believe and I respect that. yet, for that exact same argument that you have (having no proof) is that Faith is required 'beyond a shadow of a doubt' to believe in a God that is not seen with the naked eye. years ago, I would cheer you on but Life has had to teach me a few lessons to where i became humble and I was able to see that life without God is no life at all. I personally won't trick or impart fear in a person but I will definetely knod my head back and forth saying... "If you only knew or seen the things that I have that have definetley showed me who God really is". I can't prove to you through doctrine b/c although the scripture is sound and solid in its own mystical way, God is above words, scripture or doctrines of men. He is God and if He has chosen this world for us, we can choose to live or die, we can choose to love Him or hate Him, we can choose to accept or refuse. One thing He's big on .... is free will. He doesn't force anyone to follow Him but He does and will give every living human being an opportunity to hear about the good things He has done, is doing, and will continue to do.

God has an incredible love for us, he created us. Yes he could just tell us all to believe in him and we would, but would it be real love? No.. he gave us free will to choose him, or not to choose him. He doesn't want us to be like robots who can't choose for ourselves.

Take these two scenarios for example:
You and someone else share an incredible love for eachother, your significant other tells you that there is nobody else like you in the entire world and they can't live without you.

You and one other person are left on the earth, they confess their love for you. Is this because they think you're amazing and there's nobody else like you? Or is it that there isn't anyone else like you, because you're the only person left on earth?

Personally I would prefer the first. If we were created with a love for God, like some robots, God would not feel like we need him at all, since he's all we know. It would be very dull. I would rather have my husband fall in love with me, than to use some love potion on him.

I could explain this whole thing to you but Ill make it easy on myself and you. Read the Bible daily pray to God for understanding. And each passage will have a different meaning for the believer as opposed to the unbeliever. God will open your eyes and heart to things only the way he can. If you are serious about this start listening to a man named Greg Laurie. You can find him on the web at www.harvest.org Have a good day and God bless during this Christmas season.

the place interior the Bible does it say that He needs it ? He instructions it. yet He additionally instructions that we not homicide, and not scouse borrow, and not lie. Does He desire those additionally ? perhaps you do not extremely understand what faith is. God accomplishes His will with our faith......or without it. it fairly is extra suitable for us however if we obey God, via believing Him, quite than disobey via not believing Him. the religion God is talking approximately interior the Bible has not something to do with church attendance. It has not something to do anymore with ceremonies performed in church homes, like baptism, communion, marriage, funerals, or the different church purposes. It has to do with information the Bible and being obedient to the actuality.

If there is any kind of deity, it is nothing that men describe. Religion is something established almost 100% by men. Men need their egos stroked in order to feel worthy.Maybe they have ascribed their characteristics to the deity they have imagined.
