We received a baby Mozart cd at the baby shower. I think we only played it against my stomach once. As loud as you probably already play music at your house I'm sure the baby is already in love with Kottonmouth Kings

i'm interpreting your question as which you're pregnant and choose a song to dedicate on your unborn infant so on the same time as he/she comes which may well be "your" song. thank you - Dido Head Over ft - Alanis Morissette incredibly thoroughly chuffed - Stevie ask your self can now not Take My Eyes Off Of You - Lauryn Hill Love of My existence - Brian McKnight

"I am your child" by Barry Manilow

and "Blessed" by Elton John

Blessed

Elton John - Blessed Lyrics

Hey you, you're a child in my head
You haven't walked yet
Your first words have yet to be said
But I swear you'll be blessed

I know you're still just a dream
your eyes might be green
Or the bluest that I've ever seen
Anyway you'll be blessed

And you, you'll be blessed
You'll have the best
I promise you that
I'll pick a star from the sky
Pull your name from a hat
I promise you that, promise you that, promise you that
You'll be blessed

I need you before I'm too old
To have and to hold
To walk with you and watch you grow
And know that you're blessed

"I Am Your Child"

I am your child.
Wherever you go, you take me, too.
Whatever I know, I learn from you.
Whatever I do, you taught me to do.
I am your child.
And I am your chance.

Whatever will come, will come from me.
Tomorrow is won, by winning me.
Whatever I am, you taught me to be.
I am your hope,
I am your chance,
I am your child.

Whatever I am, you taught me to be.
I am your hope,
I am your chance,
I am your child.

"Eyes of the World" Grateful Dead
It was the song my dad played for me and the song I play for my son.

But I played all kinds of music for my son. Music is healing and comforting, so play around and see what your child responds to best.
I played Grateful Dead a lot before and after my son was born and he still responds 10 years later to it.

Well, I don't know about my newborn, but I work in a hospital and am very close to new mom's with their babies, and have a tendancy to sing Creed's Arms Wide Open

back then, we only listened to the Grateful Dead :] Today, my son is the nicest teenager you'd ever meet. I think whatever you choose, it should be something that resonates with you...something that brings you joy.
