I hope you know they don't care what you say , so don't waste your time. And what the **** did they do to you? MOST (Im not saying all... and the one's that I know) don't even talk about religion, they just enjoy their lives; something you should try to do. I've noticed that someone who is REALLY into their religion always has alot of anger, but someone with none is relaxed... Why is that?

Anything unknown is scary to people, so rather than try to understand where a person is coming from, they attack. It's just so much easier. Unfortunately.

It's built into the nature of religion. Religions persist over the long term by retaining adherents and getting new ones. That means that the most successful religions are going to be those most able to promote the kind of intolerance of non-adherence that you're seeing among all of those religious folks who insult atheists. They do that through a variety of tactics, including promoting lies about nonbelievers (e.g., the "they hate god" nonsense you see in one of your answers), claiming that nonbelievers will suffer some horrible fate, and even denying the existence of nonbelievers (the posts that claim that atheists come here because we secretly believe in god).

If you HONESTLY believe that people are going to hell for doing the horrible things they do (thinking for themselves, being rational, et al) then it is only natural to want to help them.
Sadly, this help usually comes in the form of tying you to a stake and setting you on fire. But hey, at least they mean well...

Athiest are normal people, just with different beliefs..DUH!
Even though I'm a Christian, You Shouldn't stereotype and say all christians hate athiest, Because only ignorant people hate others for their differences.
