i was goin to say ice as well but we cant all say that mary jane so he flooded the room tied the rope round his neck pulled the plug swam around till it was empty ok ? for you where did he get the ice

IT WAS SPIDERMAN!!! He could not handle the sorrow, pain, horrors & betrayals that he had faced in life.
He could not die at the hands of any villian becuase either fate or his friends (or even other villians for their own twisted reasons) would save him.
So he climbed up the wall, tied a rope around his neck, & created a hydroman clone to knock him out cold & he died. Because the hydroman clone had such a fast metabolism it degenerated very quickly & became the puddle of water underneath him.
Personally i am saddened that Spiderman chose to die that way (crys).
