I feel for ya. I remember what it was like to be in high school and needing parents permission to date. I personally don't see a problem with a two year age difference. I'm 33 and my soon to be wife is 24. I suppose your mom is concerned that he is becoming more grown up and may want things from you that she would prefer you saved for your future husband. Bottom line is you have to do what she wants unless you plan on sneaking around..and that can't end well.

i think he likes you BUT you are still too young to worry about this thing why not concentrate on your studies and if dustin is really that good and really likes you he will give you a chance to be responsible and old enough before having involvement in the affairs of the heart...give it time because as you grow older the more you will appreciate the beauty of getting involved with someone.

Tell your mom dating is just a kind of experiment with love. I say would say just go for it but a junior, you have got to be kidding me. You can have a sophomore at oldest before having to be in the same grade, but even to sophomore juniors and seniors are off limits, because they are to close to the age of 18. I'm sorry but, unless it's a temporary relationship (before second semester ends).

First you should get to know him better and see if he is interested in something real or is he just a player. Time will tell.
