Trust Me on this one: Anytime is a good time to come to Australia for a holiday. All it depends on is what You want to do whilst You are here. The people are friendly, the language is English (sort of like American, only with different spelling), the climate ranges from "Californian" to "Canadian" with bits of "Maine" down south. The food is just the same as back home, without the tipping, but the BEER is Better! If You want the best waves that even money can't buy then head south from Sydney along the coast towards Victoria. The biggest waves in the world break long the southern beaches of Australia. Beautiful beaches with waves that never give up!!! Try it You will not be sorry.
Come on down and say "G'Day Mate", You wont regret it.
P.S. It,s a great place to study too!

Australia is a beautiful place over Christmas, trust me, I live here. It is warm, the beaches are beautiful, there is so much to do. No-one is indoors, I wouldnt trade it for the world.
The best thing of all is going down to the beach on a warm Christmas day, having a bbq with friends and soaking in the sun!!
The Australian surf scene is one of the best in the world. Depending on where you go in Australia there is always somewhere to surf. I will however warn you against surfing off the coast of either Western Australia (the state) or South Australia (the state) as there have been a few deadly shark attacks recently.
Come to Queensland, lots of surf here!

I think it's the best time to go to Australia. Now there is summer, and you have the New Year's celebratings, that are organised greatly in Australia. Also surfing is great at this time of the year. Good luck, and have fun.

good day I disagree slightly with the others, i think of it incredibly is achieveable to pass to the three factors in 12 days, even though it is going to likely be incredibly rushed. you incredibly would desire to fly between places, and each flight takes up a minimum of a million/2 a time out of your time table. If i will make a guideline - in case you do no longer probably plan to snorkel or scuba then there does not look plenty element going all a thank you to the Whitsundays or Barrier Reef. there are a number of greater effective coastline places plenty nearer to Sydney if the assumption is for a chilled coastline trip. The Barrier reef is greater of a diving section, no longer a super type of a coastline section. evaluate perhaps the mild Coast instead (Maroochydore airport, Noosa is the main familiar motel trip spot). the final time to pass relies upon on how a ways north you're going, eg Cairns is ultimate as early as achieveable (mid Oct), Sunshine Coast greater effective slightly later (mid Oct to early Nov) to get the final climate. as a ways because of the fact the international flights, i think it incredibly is greater decrease priced to fly from the US. I doubt Thanksgiving has plenty result on the charges. i'm hoping you take exhilaration in it, October is a super time to come back.

It's a great time to go; it's summer. I went around this time many years ago and it was a blast! The only drawback was the plane ride - 23 hours total from Boston.

The one thing you do need is reservations for your hotels. It's the busiest time of year for vacations and it may be too late to get a room by now.
