If you are allergic to eggs do not get it. I get one every year.Kids and elderly people should get them annually. Anyone who works in the medical field or around a large number of people should get one. If you are not healthy and get sick real easily you should get one. The flu shot is not for everyone.

I don't get one. Every time I have gotten the flu shot, I become ill with fevers for a week.

SO for years, I have been very healthy with no problems w/o the flu shot.

I don't believe in them.

I do not get the flu shot every year but I do make sure my children get it. I think deep down inside I think, maybe if I get sick, I will be able to rest in bed for a couple of days and my husband will take care of me.
But then, he just gets sick and I have to take care of him while he is whining like a baby for three days. Oh well, my point is, shots for the kids, sometimes for me.

Absolutely! It's one thing you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones from influenza. I don't understand why some people are so dead set against it. I think there needs to be some education that adress the myths surrounding it.
