i have a welsh corgi...he's prob. the best dog in the world. i know that most people say this about thier dog, but mine really is. he's really really smart, never ever disobediant (i can take him on walks next to the street w/ out a lease, and he stays right with me). he's always happy, but not stupidly so. he's nice to all people and all dogs. so i want to know does anyone have a corgi that is different, or a dog that compares?

My Jack Russell acts the same way! She is almost 2 1/2 and had her first litter of puppies in August. She doesn't bite or even snap at anyone. I think she did once when a little girl i had started watching tried to pick a newborn up during labor. She comes when called, learns a trick after a few tries, and even got Grand Champion Obedience at our 4H county fair when she was not even a year old. She didnt do so well at state, but she seems to compare to your corgi. I think terriers get bad reputations, even though they aren't all hyper and crazy.

I have a 4 month old Bichonpoo. She is so smart she learns everything so quickly and is so well behaved. I never have a problem with her. She is a great travel companion. I take her to community meetings that are an hour long and she sleeps through the whole meeting and never makes a sound. I think my Esperanza is the best dog in the world.

My Boxer is disobedient, unless I am firm, he is extremely smart and bores easily so he gets into stuff when I am not paying attention. He does not walk on a leash he continuously jumps up and down like Tiger on Winnie the Pooh. But it makes me laugh my butt off cause he snorts while he does it. He is ALWAYS happy stupidly happy and quite annoying, hard to pet cause he can't hold still he's like a kid getting tickled to death! He is overly nice to strangers, especially kids and other dogs, to whom he usually annoys also.
He just can't help it! He has a ZEST for life and all things undiscovered. He is the best dog personality wise that I have onwed in years dispite his exuberance!

My dog is hafl terrier and have Dalmatian. He is very smart and also really nice. We got him from the Humane Society and we have had him for 9 years (he will be 11 soon). He certainly makes life wonderful. So of much our lives are wrapped up in the little dog; I would hate to think of things without him.

Merry Happy to all Pet Lovers.

Mastiffs were bred to not be able to bit or close their mouths on their humans hand. They are bred with a passion to take care of their humans. One mastiff I had invented his own set of sounds and could tell me which dog had to go to the bathroom, if something was a problem outside or inside, and just about anything else you can think of communicating. Once we left one of the house doors wide open, and he spent the whole night refusing to come upstairs, guarding the open door all night. Add to this that mastiffs will also take responsibility for cats and livestock, and will not harm kids, they are pretty amazing.

Well... Im not sure what your asking here. My moms pitbull/hound mix stays with her on walks to without a leash and loves people. Thats just being a good dog. I would say that the seeing eye dogs and the working dogs of today would be dogs to brag about.

My dog is thirteen, he has very minor HD and he actually also has cancer. He still runs around, plays and acts like a puppy. He's quite intelligent, resilient and the perfect pillow. He loves everyone in my family.

Would not trade my Dalmation for your Corgi.

Everyone feels the same about their dog. I have one that actually plays football with the kids. Only barks when there is something to bark about and brings me the water dish when its empty. No dog is perfect or they wouldn't be fun. I like when they do stupid stuff sometimes.

My Schnauzer has no comparison. When I come home from the weekend, he's at the door, throwing a fit greeting me. That alone makes him like no other dog. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
