I always try to be optimistic about everything...so I manage to somehow see the cup as being half full, rather than to see it as half empty.

It's always half full because NOTHING can be half empty. If something is INSIDE something, it is no longer empty.

Half Full. Things can always get better. Things have been worse. I may feel bad today but I know there have been days that I have felt much worse. So the glass is always half full.

If you filled it half way up, then I say half full.
If it was full and you emptied it half of the full, either my pouring it out or drinking it, I say half empty.

I see the cup half empty. Part of me is lying to myself and needs to express the real me. And quit frankly ...well liven life straight out of a textbook, following the rules is what I'm told when i know that's not how i want to live. So to answer your question, my glass is half empty.
