My cat, Lily, is a strange one. I lve her to death but sometimes I think she is just too strange for words. She has a thing for pickled okra, sweet gerkins(pickles) or strawberry twizzlers. What is something that you thought your cat ate that was funny. Don't worry, I dont give it to her all the time, just we have to hide it when we eat it cause she tries to swipe it from us! She acts like she does with catnip! LMAO! Anybody else have a cat with strange cravings?

My Russian Blue once stole a glob of Wasabi off my dinner plate when I wasn't looking.

You should of heard his angry yowl when he realized it wasn't something good for eating.

He never did that again.

My current cat must be part vegetarian - he has eaten asparagus, broccoli, green beans, and even a piece of diced carrot! But his favorite is probably beef jerky (torn into cat-sized pieces). The cat I had before him ate the frosting off a sugar Easter egg once. My mom once had a cat that ate cantelope.

The other day i was eating a trisket cracker and my cat decided he wanted to try it. So he bit down using the side of his mouth and took off a chunk like a person would do. He thinks he is human i swear he even needs his head on a pillow and blankets over him when he sleeps!

My cat, Cookie, has chewed up then brought in the house a gopher (EEEWWW...It was such a mess)! Cookie also has eaten bologna, cheese, piece of a cotton ball, paper (alot), a tiny tiny tiny puzzle piece, and that's about all. My other cat, Belle, has eaten to many things to remember. Here are just a few things that she has eaten: candy (but no chocolate), piece of rubber (I think it was rubber), cotton, poop ( her own) gophers, mice, birds, and my sock. She just swiped it from me off my foot and started chewing on it vigorously, but didn't actually eat it. Ha Ha HA! Funny...

Well one of my cats likes Doritos. My other cat loves brocoli and carrots. And the other one will walk all over the table just to get some spaguetti.

My cat likes chick peas, beans and any legume! She also likes broccoli, corn on the cob, green beans and mixed vegetables. I do not feed any of them often, but they sure are a treat for her whenever she does get some!

I had a cat that would fight me for cantaloupe. He was one of three that I had, the others weren't interested, but he would literally take it off the fork. He also loved to drink the juice.

The wasabi sauce story, of course, deserves best answer, but reminds me of a story my husband tells. They had raccoons where he lived. They would get doggy bags (or boxes) to give to the raccoons. One day it was sushi, and the raccoon popped the whole thing of wasabi in its mouth, then took off screaming, and face-planted into the koi pond, and they could hear it screaming under the water.

One of my orange tabbies is a food vacuum. He eats everything. He eats cheetos, popcorn, french fries, tortillas, beans, lint, pepper jack cheese, and my personal favorite, barbecue sauce. He also got ahold of the garlic we had hanging in our kitchen (no, we're not scared of vampires lol...it's part of the decor), and he chewed through half of a clove.
