Have you ever been in a disagreement with a sibling and they stopped talking to you? Despite leaving them emails, phone messages and what not they are determined to ignore you? WHat did you do to get that realtionship back or did you just let them come around on tehir own terms?

Long story short- got into an arguement via email over holiday plans that sibling was bugging about. said a few things that werent mean but they thought they were. I apologized even though i did not feel like i was in the wrong but i havent heard anything from that person in over a week even though my trying to communicate.

whats your thought on this?

Call her, if you haven't. Sometimes emails are read the wrong way. Explain what it is you were trying to say. If you get her answering machine, that's fine, too. But be calm. Whatever you said to upset her "cut to her core."

Yes, I've had disagreements with my sisters (I have 3) and we've been mad for a few days. But we've always worked it out. Someone has to take the first step and for family, it's always worth the effort!
