I am 19 years old and had unprotected sex twice a little over a week of my period. I was a little nervous but then got my period so I didn't think about it anymore, until I started to get this nauseus feeling every once in a while. It keeps coming and going and then I got the flu (was it really the flu?) I then got my second period and again, wasn't worried, but the nausea doesn't seem to be going away. I took two home pregnancy tests and both have come back negative. I have never been pregnant before and so I don't know what to expect. The only symptoms would be the nausea, headaches, tiredness, and I did notice that I've been crying over stupid stuff. This has been driving me crazy for two months. Am I pregnant even though the tests say that I am not and I've had two periods??!!?? Some one please answer if you know what I am talking about??

I am 11 days from my next period and have never felt nauseus, like how I do now, before or after any of my other periods (besides the last two.)

I would say wait another week or so and then take another test (a sensitive one). Tiredness, and headaches can be caused by many other things including stress, eye strain, dehydration etc. Also, if you had your actual period, then you are not pregnant considering that the hormones present during pregnancy completely prevent menstruation. Although women do report to have what seem to be lighter periods. Keep close watch and observe things like look, feel, and smell of the blood. Blood test is also recommended if you are not afraid of needles.

You can go to your family doctor or call an OB to do an blood test. Missed periods can be caused by other things than pregnancy though, although sometimes the hormone levels in pregnancy are low enough that home tests don't detect them. You're right to seek out a blood test just to be sure. Good luck!

My guess would be that no, you are not pregnant. While it does happen that some women have their period, or period like bleeding, during pregnancy, it is not very common. It is even less likely that you would have two negative pregnancy tests two months after getting pregnant. Here are some other signs to look for when you get pregnant: Smell acuity. When my wife got pregnant, she could smell stuff from across the room that I couldn't smell holding it up to my nose! Tender breasts/nipples...not a husbands delight!

Do not panic. Do you take any birth control? If so, that could be causing your nausea. I have also started noticing that I get nausea a week or two before I start my period. I even get other symptoms such as tender breasts, increased appetite, and cramping. The nausea may just be a sign that you are about to start your period.

It is unlikely that you are pregnant. The symptoms you are feeling could be related to nerves, hormones, germs, something you ate, etc. I would suggest you see a health care provider to rule out pregnancy, so you can stop worrying. Take some B vitamins to help level out your nerves.

If you are still showing neg. call your doctor to take a blood test. they are better than the ones that use urine to detect the hormones. Good Luck to yah
