Well, i think the 1st person that answered your question should have read what you had asked properly!
Im sure you and the baby will be fine!
A lot of people do things like this, because they dont always realise they are pregnant, i did it with my 1st baby...and hes 10yrs old a few days after Xmas-so there's living proof that it doesnt always cause miscarriage or anything (thankfully!)
I went out, drinking, parties..having fun till i was about 5 months pregnant with him as i had no reason to think i was actually pregnant-i was still having my periods etc!
Good luck anyway, mayb now you know your pregnant you should quit the boozing till after you have the baby!! x

You and the baby should be fine. It's actually very common for women to get drunk at least once before realizing they are pregnant so don't feel bad and don't worry. I had a friend who had dental work done and was on strong pain killers and then one weekend went out and got really drunk and then the following week found out she was pregnant, and the baby was fine. Just make sure you are taking your pre-natals, going to all of your appointments and not worrying or stressing too much since your baby feels your stress hormones. Congrats on your pregnancy and best of luck to you!

hey i found didnt find out that i was pregnant till i ws 12 weeks gone due to still having periods! as i was only 18 i was out 3 0r 4 nights a week drinking and partying with friends!
as soon as i found out i was pregnant i stopped and luckily for me my son was born a very healthy 8 pound 7! hes 2 n half now and doing great the alcohol hasnt damaged him at all!
but i think i was lucky and do not recommend drinking any alcohol during pregnancy so if you stop now i think that will greatly reduce the risk of any harm coming to your baby!

good luck with pregnancy xx

Some people are sooooo cruel on here!

You shoud be ok, if this makes you feel any better a friend of mine is 3 months pregs and she STILLS drinks and smokes, silly i know and she did the same with the first one, all the way through pregnancy and he came out ok.

You should be fine. If you are that worried make an appointment with your GP for a check up.

Many people have a bit of a binge before they realise they are pregnant. While it's not the most ideal thing, try not to worry about it too much. I got incredibly drunk the week before I found out I was pregnant with my first child and he turned out physically fine and ten years on he's super bright and way too active.

definately not - I got rip roaring drunk the night before I found out I was pregnant and my little boy is now 15 months old and doing as well (if not better) than an 18 month old (according to the doctors, but what do they know???!!!)

Seriously, you have nothing to worry about as long as you change your drinking habits now. You will be told by the 'ones that know' that very little damage can be done this early on.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride - hope it all goes ok.

No, it won't harm the baby. I think this happens to most of us!
I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant with my daughter on the 25th of January so you can imagine how much alcohol I had consumed over the festive period!!
She was born in August and she is a healthy bundle of joy!!
Please try not to worry, I am sure the baby will be fine.

This is very common and the vast majority of women go on to be fine and have healthy babies. Try not to worry. It's happened now and there is nothing you can do about it. The important thing is to be healthy for the rest of your pregnancy and not drink any more.
