On most services, dialing *69 will give you the number of the last person that called that phone if it is available.

for most phone companys its a call return. it wa smade back in the days before caller ID. the way it works is lets say some calls you and and you miss the call, dial *69 and it will call back the last number that called the phone you dial on. it works if you answer or not

It gives you the number of the last caller (if it's the same as the person who has the phone in their name). You can also press an option to call that number, if you want.

Depends on your phone service. When I had it on SBC it read out the phone number and gave you the option to dial it if you pressed a button on the touch tone pad.

It just automatically calls the last person who called you. In my experience, it has never given me the actual number.
