She'll walk when she is ready. Don't force a baby to do anything.

I would suggest that if she is overweight you reduce the amount of fat in her milk. You can give her 2% milkfat (content) and that will be a good start. As for walking, don't worry, ten months is pretty early. My daughter, now two and a half, didn't start walking until she was over 12 months old and she never crawled she went straight from sitting to walking. After she walked she started crawling,, weird huh.

My 10 1/2 mon old has just started walking well this past week . Just don't rush it they will be running before you know it. He's already started climbing on things... Anyway my ped. said it is not uncommon that babies don't walk before their 1st b day We started walking with him and got this push around cart and put his cup ar a snack in front of him and helped him keep control so he felt safe and conident. She will get it eventually. My friend 11 mon old won't even stand yet.. Just relax and work with her. I'm sure she'll suprise you and soon she'll just take off.

Unfortunately children will only do new things when they want to. some take forever to talk other can take forever to walk. Just keep encouraging her, make it fun an she will walk when she is ready. 10 months is still very young to walk. all of my children were different they walked between 10 months and 14 months

There's really not anything that you can do. My daughter is one year old now and she still hasn't walked. She can stand on her own now but she is still timid and nervous to try and take that first step. Don't worry, your daughter will walk eventually and then you'll wish that she would just sit down!

I think that 10 months is way too soon too be worried about her walking. Most of my kids did not walk until AFTER their 1st birthday.
She will walk when she is ready, and if you push her too hard you might actually do more damage than good.
Just be patient, she will walk when she is ready.

u cant force a child to walk b4 they are ready. just having the walking toy will be enough for now until she gets a bit older and her legs start to get stronger.

Believe me, once she starts walking you will be wanting her to revert back. She will be getting into EVERYTHING. Don't rush it. My husband told me that his son (My step-son) was walking at 7 months and he never had a moment's peace after that. Our son started walking exactly 2 weeks before Christmas last year and he has not slowed down since.
