Obviously, Rev. Haggard is a hypocrite who proved that even his beliefs and faith could not save him from his true nature. He thought that if he talked about the "faults and sins" of other people, then the spotlight was on them, and not on his life. He wanted to make himself look like a good role model, but the truth had to come out. It's for the best. If only he would accept the fact that he is gay and not go through the agony of trying to be healed or "restored".

Because he was over compensating,he has his own personal demons. He felt the need to cover up his own struggles by preaching against homosexuality. When in fact he was tormented himself.

the bible says there are those who "have a form of righteousness." this was Ted's case.
Some other believers actually went to him to try and get him to confess and repent, they told him that God would expose him.
He kicked them out of his church and what do you know? he was exposed.
See God gives everyone a chance to come clean, He is not in the exposing business, he would rather cover His children than expose their sins. But if we give Him no other choice then........
Well you heard the saying "If you can't do the time,. don't do the crime."

He was living in sin - but still saved. It happens all the time. Get used to it. That is most of the Christians of this world - forgiven but still living in their sin - doing their own thing so to speak. Listen - Christians at not perfect - they are not Holy like God - don't put them on a pedestal - believing they are not sinful STILL. This is so frustrating to me. We are still sinners - we still sin - we are striving to be Christ-like - it is a process - it is a growing process. I cannot be more plainly spoken about this. Please get it straight. Christians are sinners - but forgiven by God - but this does not give us the right to continue in our SIN - God hates it. God hates sin but He loves us and wants us to repent and live differently - better - Holy - greater lives. Please try to see my heart in this - this is so frustrating. Gotta go. Blessings to all.

ONE MORE THING - YES CHURCHES ARE FULL OF HYPOCRITES - SO TRUE - CHURCH IS A HOSPITAL FOR SINNERS - ALL MANKIND. WE GO TO CHURCH TO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD PREACHED AND HOPEFULLY BECOME BETTER - NOT WORSE. YOU PEOPLE ARE SO FRUSTRATING ON THIS BOARD - IT IS SOMETIMES UNBEARABLE. I PRAY YOU FIND THE TRUTH - JESUS CHRIST - HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE.

Christian = Clueless, there is no other explanation. I surely dont hold him to a higher standard because Christians have not a clue. He is just another turd in the bottom of a port-o-potty... to other Christians he has an identity but if anything being in front of a Christian congregation multiplies his turdness... I could go on......................
