God loves everyone no matter what; even people that hasn't excepted Christ in their hearts. God hates the practice of sin, in this case being gay or bi, but doesn't mean he hates the one is practicing it. As for what the bible says, it is the law of God; you just cant cut out pages from the bible just to make it right for you. You either call it the truth or a lie.
I'm not gay, so i really don't know where your coming from but I do believe people when they say they have no control over it because i believe is like a decease you dint choose to have, for example... cancer. But god has healed many people from cancer and if you truly love the lord with all your heart, with all your mind, and all your soul and if you believe and truly want to be healed
you will, just ask the lord and he will give. Remember nothing is impossible threw Christ.

The Law as explained to Christians:
Rev 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
I am a Christian and have committed at least 6 of these great sins. I have no room to be anyones judge but my own. Without Christ I deserve the torments of the second death. I make it a point not to live in my sin. I confess it to my God and to you my brothers and sisters in Christ. I hate it I don't call it anything more than what it is, terrible, horrible, rebellion against my Lord. I think it is as bad as He does. He and I are in full agreement as to the state of my sin. If you are at that place where you believe God has dealt with your sin and has forgiven you and will be with Him when this life is complete, I have no room to judge that. I do have warning that if you are a person that loves their sin. Can't agree with God that it even is sin.. You have a problem.. But like I have said the problem is between you and God not you and Jim

You are very right about God being love! And I am very glade to hear that you love and have received Christ into your life. Amen to that! Now as far as homosexuals God loves them too. God loves everyone even Satan. Now what God hates is sin. and homosexuality is a sin. You do have control over your sins. If you have accepted Christ into your life sin no longer controls you.I pray and ask God to reveal to you the truth. I also love you and
here's a little something for you to read and I pray that it answers your question a bit deeper.
The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.
God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.
However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

God doesn't hate me, and I'm a sinner...but He insists that I turn away from my sin and live in a way that honors Him. If I have a problem getting past the sin in my life, He is there to help me.
How can you say you have no choice? Does a kleptomaniac have a choice whether to steal or not? Should we punish him if he does? What about a pathological liar?
Is pedophilia a sexual orientation? Can pedophiles help it? Should God accept them?
You say you are "bi"...so, do you have one partner, or many? Are you faithful to your life partner? If so, how are you "bi"...that would take at least two partners? Are you committing adultery, as well as fornication?
God doesn't hate anyone...but that doesn't mean anyone can stroll up into His mansion and put their feet up on His golden coffee table and say "Sorry, God, but You'll just have to accept me the way I am...I don't feel like changing for You..."

Well, according to Christianity, non of us are without sin. That is the whole reason for a savior.
You seem to want religion "A la carte". You can't pick and choose the dogma that you want to believe and discard the rest. For Christians, homosexuality is a sin. Of course, in Christianity, all of us are sinners. Even the concept of original sin that all Christians are supposed to share stems from Adam and Eve and, if I am not mistaken, has some decidedly sexual undertones to it. For that matter, according to Christian dogma thinking lustfully about a woman (other than ones wife, of course) is a sin. That being the case, the average heterosexual man sins several times a day, and, as with your homosexuality, it is not something they can control.
So... either accept Christian dogma it or find another religion.

There is a request not to do so in the New Testament. However, No sin is greater than another(everyone sins in some way or another). Paul told us to Love one another for love covers over a multitude of sins. We aren't to judge others either. God forgives everyone. He also understands our hearts and minds. God hates nobody. You are absolutely right! Congratulations on accepting Christ in your life :-)!

God doesn't hate homosexual or bisexuals, and He doesn't hate you, but He hates the sin you are commiting. Make a distinction here.
God says don't engage in any sexual sin.
You claim to Love God.
God says in the book of John "If you love Me you will obey my commands."
Sorry to be so blunt but you claim to be a believer, then there is no other way to come at you but with the word of the God you claim to love.
Homo, and Bi sexuallity is wrong and it will send you to hell, just the same as sex before marriage and all the other sins.
If you love God the way you say you do , then you will understand and turn from your evil ways.
Make no mistake, God loves you very, very, very much.
\
Even the scientist behind the Pro-Homosexual Movement
have done research and determined that Homo and Bi sexual behavior is not genetic. Therfore it is a choice. Look it up then make your choice.

I have been in Yahoo Answers since May and I have never seen anyone in here say that God's hates any person. Maybe I have skipped the heretical answers. If people are hateful here I report them.
But just to clear up one point. God is the same yesterday today and forever and did not create anyone to have a tendency that is an abomination to him. There are many confused sexual feelings(as any legitimate psychologist will tell you) in your teens and even several feelings of arousal for the same sex during the peak hormonal periods in your life does not condemn you to a life of desire for the same sex.

My god does not hate anybody. Sometimes I think I believe in another Christian God than other people LOL. Preachers teach love and tolerance and acceptance and for us to be unjudgemental. Yet there is such an issue with this. I believe that the people that really make a stink of this issue are acually fighting with themselves about there own sexuality. I believe that the God I believe in does not look upon words said like that and smile. I think he does not want us to behave like that. I always stop people from what I consider "Hate" talk about this subject near me or my kids. Have a Merry Christmas!

I never heard any1 say God hates gays, but the fact is sodomy is against God's word, He made man for woman and woman for man. He created Adam and Eve. Sodomy is one of the many ways you can get aids,If it was right and moral it wouldn't cause aids. No matter what sin your living in or committing, you can't make it right in the eyes of God and Jesus.I smoke cigarette's and I been smoking since I was 12 years old,I know its bad for me and I know it's a sin but I do it anyway, I do no that God will not accept me into his Kingdom until I quit and ask for his forgiveness, That's gonna be the same with you,You might be bi~ but if you want to enter his Kingdom then you'll have to give it up~There isn't anything you can do or say to change it. It is what it is!
