Sorry, I don't know what they're called! I have always had very good natural muscle tone around my waist and abdomen, but recently it has slightly slackened.

Absolutely not! your better off just taking a few minutes every other day and doing crunches. Those devices can tone you up slightly, but do not prepare you for actually using those particular muscles.

My sis bought one and used it for a while. They did not do a whole lot plus she tore a muscle when stressing the abs. Even if they gave you nice abs, they do it externally and those muscles are there for a reason. =)

I think a few of them work, yes. The best one that I've tried is the Ab Lounge. I've been in numerous car accidents so I don't have the best back and neck. Regular crunches are too straining so I bought the Ab Lounge and it works tremendously! It even works out my arms. The other best thing about it is the fact that you can stretch out your back. Very good machine. I recommend it.

not really, situp's will work 10 times better though, try 20 a day for 2 weeks and you will really see a significant difference.

That rolling wheel thing works but it hurts like hell the first days. You'll get used to the pain,lol.

only if ur already in pretty good condition... if you're 20 stone then dont even bother... theyre better at keeping u in shape than getting u in shape im afraid ! :)

not those electric ones that are like a belt.
they are rubbish.

the best thing is to do sit ups and stomach crunches.

Some do, some don't. My experience is that most don't because they get shoved in the closet.

Sit-ups work!

it works for those who are disaplined enough to use them every other day if not everyday. I am not one of those people unfortunatly
