Just support him.

I have a little 16 lb. puppy and over Halloween he knocked something over and ate at least a hand full of candy corn. He was sick for about a day (through up and moped around), but eventually got better. Just give him some support.

Also, if it is chocolate it is not necessarily the end of the world. Milk chocolate has very little of the stuff which is poisonous to dogs in it so they would have to eat a lot to be seriously ill. Dark chocolate is worse though.

I hope he gets better soon!

PS- sorry if it is a she, don't mean to offend.

GP is right, if it was chocolate you get him to the vet and tell them how much he ate, they will make him sick. Its better if you know how to make your own dog sick. The traditional way is a small piece of washing dsoda, you give it like a pill.

If it was just sugar candy then don't worry, just keep it in a tin out of his reach in future!

If you're that worried, ring the vet. They have an emergency out of hours service, they'll advise you.

as long as it is not chocolate this can be deadly for them.but dogs do have a sweet tooth so a little candy can not hurt them, just not chocolate and do not let them over eat sweets, only for a treat.

Chocolate - get him to the Vet.
Reg candy (NO chocolate) - try and get him to eat a little grass and he should throw it up.
