I'm 17 and never been kissed - I just started going out with this guy (my first boyfriend) He's kinda shy - what o you think kinda the average time of going out is before the first kiss - should i be nervous - i know i would be his first too!

that's so cute. i remember when i was 17 all i could say is take your time don't rush it especailly the first kiss thats something you will not forget. surprise him a kiss on the cheek for the first time may allow him to open up when the time comes it will good luck, remember don't rush it

Well its good that you will be each others first kiss so u will understand each other and be on the same level. Its normal to be nervous and you dont have to start with a huge passionate kiss. You can start with little ones and over time build ur way up! Maybe if you made the first little kiss move he would feel more comfortable about making a move back

It should happen in about 1-2 weeks. Dont be nervous. When it happens just go along with it! Since hes shy you might want to go in slow...and plus, make sure it happens in a romantic spot where there are no distractions! since its both of your first kisses then you should make it memorable and perfect!

17? There is no average time that I know of. I don't remember my first kiss. I do remember the second one a few seconds later. I suppose it's common to be nervous, but you like him and that makes it nicer and a little easier.

when the time is right it will happen for both of you it should never be planned, and its always okay to be a little nervous, and there's nothing wrong with saying hey I want to kiss you, and there is no average in my opinion sometimes it just happens and you will know.

alrighty. well, if he's shy, he will be reluctant to make any strong advance at all, especially if he is younger, and if you go to school together and you are more popular. whenever you are on a date, break the physical barrier, thats the hardest one for most guys to get past.at the movies, just like brush his leg or whatever and when he looks at you keep eye contact. if he breaks it, just giggle and reach for his hand. if its in his pocket lean on him a bit. if its a scary movie cower against him even if it isnt that scary. i honestly didnt have the problem at that age, but i dated a somewhat older woman awhile back,and she was about your age and things were difficult at first because i was so nervous. dont sweat it, and good luck

you shouldn't be nervous because he is shy so you guys will kiss when you both are ready don't rush into anything. give him sometime because it will be both of you guys first time. so just wait on it. it will happen at the right time.

You shouldnt try and make it happen it will come naturally. If its his first also what do you have to be nervous about, he has no one to compare you to. Enjoy each others friendship and if you kiss you kiss.

if ur nervous talk to him about it, i know it may sound stupid, but sometimes its best to talk to him about it so that ur both on the same page. because kisses can be awkward if ur not careful.
