Hello. This is what I usually used for video editing.
If you would like your video results (output) to be VCD (MPEG-1) or DVD (MPEG-2), you can use Sony Vegas Studio. I don't know what is the latest version, but I've been used to version 4.
We can even arrange our still photographs and make them into a video presentation.
In my opinion, it's less complicated then other program, such as Adobe Premiere.

Best regards,
Heihadji

I've done some of my own research and through my own personal experience, Ulead VideoStudio is one of the best ones out there. I've read reviews on the newest version #10, and it is one the only video editors that supports HD and 5.1 surround sound formatting. Very, very cool for high quality stuff. And the learning curve is NOT that hard to figure out.

Try Ulead products. I find, myself, Adobe Premiere Pro easy to use to edit videos.
